Book that moved me: Wild at Heart

What inspired me to do what I do: Peach State Pride is a manifestation of quite a few strong passions coming together within myself. I've always been extremely proud of where I come from; my family, my community, my county, my high school, the college I attended, teams I've been apart of, and of course the State of Georgia. I grew up picking peaches with my grandpa where I developed a strong appreciation for the fruit, agriculture as a whole, and our southern culture. And I've always had a strong desire to dream and create; to take something that doesn't exist and dream it to life. Peach State Pride allowed me, and still allows me, to do all of those things.

Random fact about me: Ty Cobb was my great-grandfather's 1st cousin (my 4th) and apparently they didn't always see eye-to-eye which seems to have been a common theme for The Georgia Peach.

Back to the Future

On the weekend I love: Hiking, playing flag football, watching college football, or just relaxing with my beautiful wife.

Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did they teach you? My grandpa, Virlyn 'V.F.' Chitwood has always been my hero. He just has an aura about him; a quiet and humble leader, always sharing knowledge, wisdom, and stories, and he's such a great teacher. He's self-motivated, stern and strong, yet has an extremely gentle spirit. I've been so blessed to spend my summers with him in the peach orchard; simply watching and listening to him. He's so genuinely passionate about peaches and I think being around a man like that, who truly lives his passion, had a very special impact on my life.

'Merica Clothing Partnership

Much like the founders of Peach State Pride & ‘Merica Clothing, these clothing lines were born under the shade of southern pines & peach trees. There’s something about being born in the South that instills a need to help others and work together towards a common goal. We call it Southern hospitality. Peach State Pride & 'Merica Clothing have come together realizing that those values are the best way to make change in this state & country. Why not look great while doing it? Peach State Pride & 'Merica Clothing have partnered together to bring you some exciting new Spring products. Stay tuned & Stay Southern!

Perhaps you have seen the above statement as the description of a "milestone" on the Peach State Pride Facebook page. The definition of "milestone" is: An action or event marking a significant change or stage in development.

This next week of preparing for the release of our new spring products marks a significant moment for us as a company as we continue to develop and grow. We have partnered with an amazing clothing line, 'Merica Clothing, for our spring products. We have spent countless late nights brainstorming and working together to see how we can best use our talents and abilities to come up with something new and great for our customers. David Yarbrough, the founder of 'Merica Clothing, has been such a fun and creative addition to the Peach State Pride team.

We are having a photo shoot tomorrow afternoon and hope to have our new products available in the next week!

We hope y'all are as excited as we are!!

After much exploring and 65 screenshots... I have compiled some of y'alls Instagram pictures for the blog! Thank you SO much for using a hashtag for Peach State Pride! We love being able to keep up with you guys and see where the products we work hard to make end up.
