Meet the Models

Hi Peachy People! As some of you know we have been trying to visit different towns and take photos of people in Peach State Pride gear. Our most recent trip was to Athens, GA. Looking at photos of Peach State Pride products is probably one of your favorite hobbies, but now you can look at pictures and learn about the people in them!

One of these people has never drank a coke, one was on America's Got Talent, one can't ride a bike, one loves to swing dance, one danced on the Regis and Kelly show, one is nicknamed Sassy and one is a movie star. This is definitely worth a read...

Tyler Summey

Age: 22

When you were a kid, what did you say you wanted to be when you grew up: Verterinarian
Favorite place to eat in Athens: Last Resort
Last time you laughed really hard:  Probably a "yo momma" joke... mature, I know.
What one of your favorite things about living in the South:  Nice people :)

Darien Marc-Anthony LaBeach

Age: 21
Major: Marketing

Where did you go to High School: East Coweta
When you were a kid, what did you say you wanted to be when you grew up: A laywer
Favorite place to eat in Athens: The Globe, or Add Drug - it's a tie
Last time you laughed really hard:  When Mache (one of the other models) and I were holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes for the photo shoot.
What one of your favorite things about living in the South:  I LOVE southern hospitality. The fact that I can walk into any establishment or business and be addressed as "dear, sweetie, honey" (etc.) makes me beam!
What song do you love to dance to:  Gangnam Style
Have you ever been mentioned in the newspaper:  Yes, the Red & Black
Tell me something we don't know about you: My freshmen year of college I was on America's Got Talent with my hallmates.


Lindsey Hutchins

Nick Vaughn

Samantha Fouche

Age:19
Major: Fashion Merchandising & Consumer Economics

When you were a kid, what did you say you wanted to be when you grew up: Veterinarian
Favorite place to eat in Athens: Last Resort
Last time you laughed really hard:  Yesterday, when my best friend tripped at the bus stop
What one of your favorite things about living in the South: Southern hospitality, football, weather, and the people

Tell me something we don't know about you: I can't ride a bike

Lucy Williams

Sweet, sweet Lucy is one of our favorite people! She is our photographer and the woman responsible for helping Peach State Pride look wonderful. She isn't often in front of the camera because she is truly gifted working behind the camera. But look at that face... she would definitely make a great Peach State Pride model, don't ya think? We wanted Lucy to answer our interview questions as well!

Age: 20
Major: Studio Art/Music Therapy Minor
Where were you born: Montgomery, AL
Where did you go to High School: Walton High School
When you were a kid, what did you say you wanted to be when you grew up: I went through a phase in middle school where I thought for some reason I could be an actress. I can't act. But I have always loved art, so I'm glad that seems to be working out for me!
Favorite place to eat in Athens: Ike & Jane or Mama's Boy... I'm a big fan of breakfast.
Last time you laughed really hard:  This morning! I have funny friends...
What's one of your favorite things about living in the South: I have a large and wonderful family scattered all over the south who I love very much.
What song do you love to dance to:  anything conducive to swing dancing. But I am also a sucker for Destiny's Child.
Have you ever been mentioned in the newspaper: Yes, my family was interviewed about Thanksgiving one year.
Tell me something we don't know about you: When I was in 5th grade, my sisters and I won 2nd place in a Karaoke Contest at a Holiday Inn in Jamaica. We sang Dixie Chicks.
